To work as Head - Business Development ( title is flexible and can be discussed, this is indicative of role) with a Leading Super Specialty Hospital in Mumbai. This is a high profile Hospital with an outstanding reputation for tertiary care in its chosen specialty. As Head - Business Development, you would report to the CEO and be responsible for all Sales and Marketing Activities for the Hospital. This includes domestic, national and international business development. You will lead and motivate a Team of professionals to create and build close relationships with an increasing referral base. You will innovatively source new markets for the Hospital and position efforts to take advantage of new opportunities for providing medical care to Patients. You will proactively develop an international model of sales , perhaps through the development of medical tourism and reap benefits for the Hospital. This role requires considerable aggression in thought and action and expectations for performance are high.
You are a graduate in any discipline from a reputed institute. You will ideally have a post graduate qualification in Sales and/or Marketing. A qualification in Healthcare Marketing would be an advantage. You have worked in Healthcare and / or the Pharma sectors and have exposure to the Sales & Marketing efforts for a major Hospital. You have developed a network of contacts with Doctors and other source markets for Hospitals and can leverage your connections in this role. You have travelled extensively across India and Overseas and are comfortable with the nuances of business development in different cultural environments. You are a resident of Mumbai or have no issues with relocating to Mumbai to take up this assignment.
