Job Description


Drive the overall Manpower Planning for Plant/ Site
o Identifying requirements across Functions
o Acquiring, allocating, developing, training & retaining talent by networking with right agencies
Ensure implementation & functioning of an efficient Performance Management System at all times
Manage Compensation & Benefits programs in line with the Corporate Guidelines
Ensure compliance with Corporate HR policies and statutory laws; Manage Industrial relations; Develop clear roles & responsibilities


Enhance Corporate Culture amongst employees & community at plant/ site in line with corporate guidelines
Institutionalize people processes and systems to enable speedy & efficient execution
Continually focus on strengthening the team through hiring & developing talent

Desired Candidate profile:

Qualification: Management Degree in HR
Experience: 16+ years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role as Head of HR function in a Manufacturing Organization (Preferably Power).
Age: 40-52 years

Competency / skill set desired:

Core knowledge & Skills:

Exposure in handling Trade unions, labor issues, PR, IR and in dealing with large number of skilled & unskilled personnel
Vision to foresee local personnel trends and taking proactive actions
Vast skills to drive & monitor IT, Admin, Security, EHS & CSR activities, in consultation with Chief Executive

Soft Skills:

Ability to connect with Functional Teams and full understanding of their needs
People orientation and strong leadership skills; Self driven approach
Strong influencing, interpersonal, communication & presentation skills
Ability to own & drive organization wide initiatives
