Job Description

To run end to end procurement operations of production parts including price agreements, ordering procedures and delivery management from both local and global suppliers.

Monthly scheduling through MRP as per production plan and further follow-up for parts/materials availability with all suppliers and logistics partners.

Resolving system errors and ensuring accuracy in supplier requirement release.

Evaluating delivery rating of the suppliers performance (SDPR) and initiating corrective action for Supplier delivery performance improvement.

Controlling Parts inventory in plant & monitoring the supplier ASN.

Analyzing releases of critical parts on daily & weekly basis; highlight the exceptions to the Production Planning Dept.

Responsible for making all system (CATS) related transactions which includes the profiles.

Making efficient procurement of materials according to the schedule that is mainly depending upon the market fluctuations.

Getting less lead time in procurement at the time of unexpected rejections during various causes.

Monitoring physical cycle count of all parts and making stock reconciliation for inventory management.

Implementation of Kaizen (continuous improvement) in all regular activities and new proposals for improvement

Formulating MIS reports on parts inventory for facilitating decision making by Finance team.

Attending the cross functional team (CFT) meeting with the Quality, Supplier Readiness, Management team, Engineering Department, supplier Quality Management team, Logistics team, etc.

Do market research and procurement of parts at best price and of best quality.

Supporting for after sales market requirement, planning at the regular production.

Should have good knowledge in Parts Procurement processes like Indent receiving, RFQ floating, Technical & commercial comparison, negotiations, PO releasing & Materials follow-up.

Proven track record of implementing accounting process and systems from scratch in a Greenfield project is a must.

Frequent job hoppers are not preferred.

Should have good negotiation and leadership skills.

Must have good experience in SCM, Procurement, Purchase and Vendor Development.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word.

Must have good communication skills.

Driving license holder is preferable.
