Job Description

Strategic Alliances is an independent function which adds visible value to businesses and takes care of stake-holders (Business Head/Product Heads) requirements across Retail Banking Group (RBG). Unit Leader (read Head Strategic Alliances) works closely with the retail banking business/product teams to build big partnerships for their respective business needs which are primarily focused on:

new customer acquisition,

product activation,

increase of spends on payment channels,

customer engagement and retention and.

sponsorship's & cost savings for the Bank.

Desired Candidate Profile

Alliances Head has to have natural passion and ability to do the following:

A) Establish contact with the top management of the Alliance Partner Organization (APO).

B) Develop rapport with the key decision maker and influencers in the APO.

C) Initiate/ build relationship between APO's senior/s and our senior/s.

D) Impart training, develop processes and institutionalize the way of working in the entire Alliances team so that each member knows the importance of 'things beyond just bringing offers and sponsorship's'.

E) Deploy professional approach of written brief seeking/ de-briefing for alliance requirements from Product/ Business teams.

F) Come up with innovative ideas and develop win-win solutions for APO and Bank in terms offers, promos, sponsorships, PR, business alliances and leveraging each others' captive media channels.

G) Give quarterly update to GM on the strategy to manage big partners and share an update on our progress and competition.

H) Keep track on the brand score with respect to 'alliance related' parameters. Ensure that we remain on the top position and the gap between us and competition bank widens.

I) He must possess all below mentioned qualities and must be very good at understanding business dynamics quickly, can covert small leads into big opportunities, good conceptualization/visualization of campaigns, innovative, good at execution & driving big teams; and most importantly must be good at showing big picture to the team (vision for this important profile).

Knowledge of retail banking products
Excellent communication & presentation skills
Good analytical skill, negotiation skills, business consultation skills and account coverage skills
Ability to think and work independently
Should be a able to work under unstructured briefs
Good liasioning with external & internal stake holders

Key deliverables

To co-own and assist the business teams to deliver business target in terms of
New customer acquisition/ ERV
Any other parameter defined by business
Maintain relationship with the business partners to ensure that customers get the best and most relevant deals. This is a must
Get good brands for sponsorships & visibility of Bank products
Collaborate with key internal stakeholders like legal, compliance, brand, business analytics, product & business teams
Adhere the internal guidelines of customer and partner engagement
Identify new partners and manage assigned partners for promotions with Bank. To manage end-to-end process, that is from agreement, ensuring internal buy-in, creative development, communication, to offer analysis
