Main Job duties:
Planning for New Business Unit
Study the basis of business requirements and inputs received from customers, conduct pre-feasibility study & set specifications for each business during the project stage, prepare business case, plan for resources/ legalities in execution, prepare execution plan IN ORDER TO get approval business case.
Capital Expenditure for expansion in Business units
Conduct feasibility study on expansion, analyze needs involved in expansion, advice BU heads on volume, capacity and costs involved in expansion, advice the BU Board on Capex plans, support execution of expansion (case to case) IN ORDER TO facilitate expansion of current businesses.
Supervise project delivery as per plan, identify potential locations for setting up plant/s, acquire land and obtain certifications and approvals from relevant authorities, appoint contractors, monitor progress of the infrastructure, select equipment, raw materials, recruit employees, supervise operations of the project till first sale, track progress and initiate corrective actions IN ORDER TO commence project on time.
Safety, Health and Environment
Ensure adherence to ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, TS , BSC
Coordinate with safety department for ensure upkeep of facilities and take corrective and preventive action to reduce accidents, IN ORDER to create safe working environment & to prevent accidents.
Define CFT Teams, Organize CFT meetings and meeting between HOD's to act as a common link between all departments.
Facilitate and co-ordinate with the CFT, make CFT clear about the objectives of the program and ensure the same is delivered by each respectively.
