Are you a sales professional looking to make a significant impact in the Cloud ERP space with a leading Cloud Aggregator? Cloud Aggregators are changing the technology landscape, and we anticipate a massive surge in demand for Cloud based enterprise applications in the coming years. We seek a dynamic Head of Sales to build and lead our stellar team of sales professionals as we attack this greenfield opportunity with our market-leading Cloud Solutions.


The Head of Sales in the Cloud Enterprise Application Division division will report directly to the President of the Company & work on our partnership with NetSuite range of products. This position requires a dynamic and experienced leader who can manage a team of high performance Associates and Executives from initial prospect contact through the entire sales life cycle in order to secure new strategic and affinity partnerships with key industry associations in order to fuel company-wide lead generation for Aashna Cloudtech various products and services. This person will also work closely with a team of pre - sales, marketing & customer care professionals to ensure a high level of quality service to our customers. This position also includes hands-on management of a marketing research team focused on strategic lead generation and highly visible marketing campaigns. Exposure to managing cross-cultural teams will be an added advantage because Aashna Cloudtech has international operations of its Sales, Marketing, and Client Services departments. This position may involve travel to our clients across India.

Position Duties

  • Directly manage a team of experienced sales professionals to achieve and surpass individual and department revenue goals
  • Coach, mentor, provide feedback and improve the skill set and productivity of the team
  • Identify, innovate and execute business ideas to improve division goals and targets
  • Initiate, manage, take ownership of strategic dialogues with other teams, including Marketing, Technology, Client Services, among others
  • Drive Aashna Cloudtech Marketing team to identify new potential affinity partners and formulate strategies to penetrate them
  • Develop and implement strategic goals and tactical planning for sales organization
  • Involvement in appraisal and career planning of employees
  • Recruit, train, and retain future team members
  • Ensure relationships with key decision-makers for accounts that will provide new business are continuously developed and relationships are strengthened and grown
  • Oversee and manage the company's industry relations with key industry associations
  • Solicit customer feedback to inform product management team

Candidate Requirements:

  • New technology sales experience across markets
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to integrate knowledge across disciplines to include consultative selling, product demonstrations, closing contracts, operation/ process flow, and product function
  • Ability to contribute to the senior management team by participating in planning, resources allocation, and driving growth
  • Direct, previous track record of consistently achieving or beating quota for individual sales performance
  • Comfortable using online software sales automation products such as netsuite.com and web collaboration tools like WebEx/ Go to Meeting
  • Must be articulate, organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to multi - task in a dynamic, fast - changing entrepreneurial environment


The Head of Sales will be primarily responsible for managing Regional Managers to drive their sales teams towards monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for new business through both direct and partner sales channels. The Head of Sales will work cross functionally with Solution Consulting/ Presales, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Legal, and Professional Services designed to assist with the team's selling success and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Manages customer expectations and contributes to a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Defines sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identifies improvements where and when required
  • Establishes and implements infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function
  • Compiles information and data related to customer and prospect interactions
  • Monitors customer, market and competitor activity and provides feedback to company leadership team
  • Works closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs
  • Manages key customer relationships and participates in closing strategic opportunities
  • Travels for in - person meetings with customers and employees as necessary

Masters and enforces Aashna Cloudtech's Sales Policy guidelines.

Qualifications/ Skills:

  • Minimum 10 - 15 years of relevant professional experience in high performance sales environments; ERP software industry experience highly preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience managing, motivating and developing successful sales teams as well as handling large/ enterprise accounts
  • Outstanding leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Expertise in selling strategies and methodologies, strategic planning and execution, and employee motivation techniques
  • Sales expert who can drive sales opportunities to win and close deals
  • Credible and impactful leader with proven ability to differentiate Aashna Cloudtech's product range
  • Expert in the industry who understands and influences the marketplace
  • A track record of performance excellence in meeting targets and objectives

Related Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
