Responsible for overall Plant Quality from Process to Final and Customer Complaints.
Develop mechanisms to reduce the PPM.
Maintain and improve departmental operational performance, to meet the requirements of regulatory authorities, company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and external and internal customers, with respect to quality, service, lead time and cost.
Develop and implement the Quality departments strategy, to ensure it meets the business requirements and customer deliverables, as well as ensure the departmental performance against goals.
Proactively monitor sources of trends, complaints, failures, deviations and changes to identify opportunities for system, process and product improvements.
Ensure appropriate investigation of discrepancies, errors, complaints, failures or adverse events require documented review and action.
Implementation & maintenance of QMS Activities (ISO/TS-16949)
Conduct internal audits and follow up actions for the closure of NCs
Manage quality concerns from customer through required response at each stage till the problem is resolved.
Well versed with knowledge of Quality Systems like ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 & ISO 18001
Coordinate vendor audits effectively
Quality departments budget management and resource requirements
Ensure the efficient and effective day to day running of the QA & QC department
