Job Description


You will own the marketing plan for the online B2C vertical. This covers, for India and beyond:

1. Online lead generation: Achieve lead targets via Search Engine Marketing, Display, Remarketing, Affiliates, Social media. Driving RoI on each of these.

2. Maintaining and optimizing (SEO) the FLIP website, to generate high quality traffic.

3. Create and own the overall digital marketing strategy and execution. Target to achieve expected revenue growth in the segment over the period.

4. Managing the organic growth for FLIP's social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Blogs etc. in line with the annual online marketing plan.

You will be responsible for both (indirect) revenues and direct expenses, for your vertical; and work to grow it, from a small base. As the business grows, so will your income, responsibilities and team size. We offer you a tremendous, entrepreneurial learning opportunity.

You can reinvest part of the gross profits, into expanding your team thereafter. You- ll directly report to the CEO.

You will initially be based out of Mysore; a final (after 2-3 months) location can be either Bangalore or Mysore.

A start-up is both difficult and exhilarating! FLIP has broken barriers and built a great reputation. Still, the model is new in India and needs persistence, belief, energy and a long term (3-5 year) view. Apart from these, you- ll need:

- An engineering or MBA degree from a premier institute (top 50)

- A minimum of 5 years- sales or marketing experience,

- An in-depth understanding of how to use the online medium to generate business - with a min of 2 yrs in online marketing

- High intelligence, with creativity in thought

- Hunger to achieve - persistent, not give up easily.
