Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Marketing Planning , Budgeting & Control - Premium Products

Create annual budgets for the function and ensure adherence to the same
Responsible for delivering bottom-line impact by exercising control over costs of Brand & Marketing
Monitor monthly deviations from the plan and take appropriate corrective /preventive actions to meet annual targets towards realization of business plans


Strategically acquire competitor intelligence by constantly updating competition activities to develop counter strategies to advise on price corrections of the products based on competitor moves
Recommend new investments / product categories based on market analysis to ensure profitability


Ensure preparation of sales MIS at regular intervals and draw insights to improve quality of decisions taken by senior management

People Management

Convey organizational strategy to the team, set departmental objectives and provide leadership direction to achieve goals
Motivate staff through goal setting, performance initiatives, career development and performance evaluations
Develop, maintain and train employees and teams and approve training programs for all next positions in line with budget allocations
Review and monitor performance of team on an ongoing basis and provide requisite developmental support/ inputs

Internal interaction (within the organization)

Upward reporting; seeks approval on all corporate level changes; provides update of sales position on a periodic basis
Consolidation of business plans and forecasting business performance based on strategic imperatives of all the functions
To gather critical information, facts and data from the business and be in touch with ground reality to ensure effective implementation of key business decisions, for regular reviews

External interaction (outside the organization)

Dealerships (current and potential)- for appointment of new dealers and performance improvement of existing ones
External agencies
Key customers- build & maintain good relationship to keep track of emerging business opportunities


Candidate must be any graduate, MBA/PGDM in Sales / Marketing
