To handle Union and wage settlements, resolving IR crisis and creating smooth work environment & Culture.
Should be well versed with the wage settlement 12(3) & 18(1).
Negotiate with workers/unions for implementing management concepts/Policy.
Can Handle Grievance redress forum and Welfare activities.
Conducting domestic enquiry against workers for unauthorized absence, misbehavior.
Can deal in Legal matters, Labour Court, attending court proceedings in Civil, Labour court on behalf of company.
Conversant with conciliation and other quasi- judicial proceedings. Interacted with advocates and handled numerous cases in various courts.
.In-charge of Legal cell conducting Domestic enquires, Disciplinary action, Drafting of charge sheet.
General administrative activities, personnel management, corporate policy implementation and facilities.
Ensuring prompt resolution of employee grievances to maintain cordial management-employee relations and achieve dedication by workers.
Possessing hands on experience in issues like Domestic enquiry, Merger, VRS, Lay off and certification of standing order etc.
Maintain industrial harmony which include liaising with the Union / Labour Dept and government agencies to manage all IR issues and related activities.
Responsible for maintaining effective discipline including consistency in procedures. relating to administration of disciplinary action. Handling IR Issues Smoothly.
Supported/facilitated line personnel in setting and maintaining productivity norms and productivity improvement measures.
To Serve as a link between management and employees by handling critical issues sensitively and solving work-related problems.
To Deal with labour court and labour departments.
Prepare showcase notice and warning letters, conducting domestic enquiries and taking disciplinary actions like suspension and Dismissals, and Termination of Service as per the act.
Good Interaction with all trade union Leaders and solve the Issues smoothly.
Must be a Full time MSW / MBA (HR) from a Reputed college
Tamil / Kannada Language is must for this role.
Ideal candidate would be currently heading the Plant IR & ER for atleast 1- 2 large Plants either as the Head or as a No. 2 in the Plant IR Function preferably in the Auto Tier -1 Group or with an Auto OEM.
Significant current experience would be in Plant related HR/ IR.
Written and Spoken Knowledge of Tamil & Kannada would be a definite advantage.
Excellent communication and inter personal skills is definitely needed for this role.
Pedigree of experience encompassing industrial relations, discipline within a large manufacturing with experienced workforce would be preferred, but not a must.
Proven track record of Leading and Driving Negotiation and Settlements with Union is mandatory.
Out of the box thinker and problem solving capability
Ability to manage multiple plants at different geographic locations.
Less than 48 years of age preferred.
Open to travel if required.
