Purpose of the job:
To plan and execute growth mapping strategy for Accounts function of the group.
Roles & responsibilities:
Oversee general accounting functions including liaison with bankers and initiate the strategic MIS system.
Set up and analyze 'Key Business Indicators' as per corporate requirements.
Manage group's accounting team. Coordinate and produce monthly/quarterly/annual management accounts (actuals, forecasts, budgets) information within the specified timelines.
Identify and evaluate areas for improvement of profit with particular regard to cost reductions and its methodology.
Ensure & maintain cost controlling and product costing information.
Set up & maintain internal controls as per corporate requirements.
Ensure all taxation and legislative requirements are complied with at all times. Perform internal audit & control and liaison with auditors.
Manage cash including petty cash & updating daily cash-flow.
Conduct re-conciliation between intra and inter-company accounts.
Chartered accountant and MBA from a reputed institute.
Managerial and soft competencies:
A result oriented leader who loves working with people and is customer centric.
* Strong knowledge of Banking, Financial Institutions and Accounts
* Knowledge of project financing and commercial matters including understanding of corporate matters, corporate law and business re-engineering.
Minimum 15 years, in a company of repute.
