Skills and Experience:
*5+ years of hands-on experience in design and implementation of analog and digital circuits
*Experience evaluating off-the-shelf electrical/ electronic components, prototypes and electronics development prototypes
*Experience in design and fabrication of high speed digital circuits
*Design and implementation of redundant safety electronics
*Good knowledge of motion and force sensors
*Experience in use of electronic development and test equipment (debuggers, emulators, oscilloscopes, logic and spectrum analyzers, etc.)
*Electrical wiring, cabling design/harnessing (Low Voltage/High Voltage)
*Practical working knowledge of design for electromagnetic compatibility
*Experience with approval issues including UL and CE is a plus
The right candidate must be able to work across many different platforms, architectures, and situations. A diverse exposure to processors, analog and digital circuits, and low-power design is extremely important. The candidate must adapt to challenges, and be able to search out new technologies and apply them with minimal oversight.
Our candidate's primary responsibilities will be developing board-level solutions for embedded systems (including cabling, EMC, and process-driven documentation). Secondary responsibilities include multi-discipline system architecture (electronics, software, and mechanical systems).
Generate complete system documentation and provides input to technical proposals in order to effectively communicate the design and/or approach to internal and external customers.
BE/MS (or higher) in the field(s) of Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
