Job Description

Ensure Statutory Compliance of HO and all other plants Pan India for HR/IR/ER. Also for a couple of plants. (to be decided )

Ensure HR/ER/IR processes for identified plants are looked into end to end

Statutory Compliance Portal Updation, monitoring of Compliances , resolve difficulties of the user departments and provide feedback for improvements

- ER / IR Data Bases creation and knowledge management for all Plants and Unions

- Scanning of the environment in and around our manufacturing facilities in terms of wage structure, settlements, ER initiatives and trade union activities

- Facilitate Workmen education agenda in Plants

- Liaison with Concerned Government agencies in Maharashtra ( Labour Department, BMC etc.,)

- Support Chief Manager IR in mitigating the risks involved with Contract Labour specifically in Sales Functions

- Ensure all agreements involving contract labour are as per agreed guidelines

- Employee Relations: Identify critical issues, communicate to management, represent influence employee groups; advice on union negotiations, analyze long term implications and share best practices to permeate company values and compliance to statutes more specifically with identified plants

- External Environment Management /Networking: Anticipate, analyze issues and plan to protect company interests from litigations, interact with government agencies; liaise with advocates to ensure that Companys interests are protected

Industrial Relations and Labor Law matters-

Dealing with local authorities , Agreements, Settlements, Disciplinary matters, Statutory Records as per the applicable acts. Good liaison with local authorities as and when it is required

Sustaining Employee Commitment-

Initiating and monitoring review and revision of HR policies related to Employee

Industrial Relations and Labor Laws

- Monitor and advise on court cases/ litigation in the establishments/ plants identified
