Co-ordinate with Marketing, Project and Operations Department to commercialize new outlets
Analyze category-wise sales results, margin leakages and trends to prepare action plans for all Gangar stores
Leverage outlets strengths and address areas of opportunity to drive sales and profits at all stores
Strategize, supervise and finalize all sourcing deals
Develop, negotiate and execute tactical plans for pricing, promotions, product and placement
Create versatile promotional plans
Setup and guide new outlets for smooth running
Ensure efficient purchasing of goods, maintain equilibrium between stock out and excess stock by monitoring inventory control
Ensure execution of established safety, security, quality and outlet operational policies, procedures and practices
Responsible for recruiting, training and team management of the Merchandising Department
Creating, maintaining and updating the departmental SOPs
Prepare MIS reports for Senior Management
Visit stores on a regular basis, and work closely with Store Managers to drive revenue growth.
Post Graduate in Management
10-12 years of experience in Merchandising

Note: No role in Procurement and Buying. Instead of that he/she should have good experience in assortment planning, product mix, controlling leakage of margin, increasing profit margin, proper allocation of products as per store requirement.
Candidate should have good knowledge of Mumbai market.
