Job Description

Experience: 10+ years post qualification
Education: CA preferably with CS

Experience in a manufacturing Export oriented Industry with exposure of managing the entire Finance and accounts team including of arranging of finance such as equity finance , Foreign Currency term loam , working capital , compliance of VAT, Income tax , ROC and others

Primary responsibilities:
(A) Accounts, MIS and Reporting:
Prepare and submit accurate and duly prepared financial statements and relevant reporting schedules to group MIS team on monthly basis. Financial statements include Income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, relevant schedules and budget vs actual comparison
Implement group accounting policies
Ensure compliance of financial statements to IAS / IFRS
Prepare and review weekly risk monitoring reports
Prepare yearly budgets in conjunction with country head
Prepare and review overheads cost analysis (budget vs actual) and highlight reasons of variance

(B) Systems and Processes:
Prepare and implement Standard Operating Processes (SOPs) for various operations and accounting activities
Prepare and review cost sheets for commodity trades and processing plants in the country
Initiate cost control mechanism at a country level
Participate into periodic stock audits and reconciliation process
Exercise credit control over credit sales

(C) Statutory compliance and Audit:
Ensure complete statutory compliance with local tax laws and reserve bank regulations conduct statutory compliance test on regular basis.
Provide adequate information and reports to internal group audit.
Manage statutory audit by independent audit firm.
Liaison with consultants and lawyers to get expert opinions on tax or legal matters when required.
Maintain company's secretarial documents and compliance with corporate law requirements.

(E) Team management:
Lead finance and accounts team. Conduct performance management reviews for each of the staff member.
Provide effective leadership and direction through regular meetings and feedback sessions.
