Job Description

Business Development, Planning & Execution
Identifying and developing potential clients in International markets, domestic buying office, private labels & fashion brands to tap value added business opportunities. Working in a large vertically integrated Zip & Raisin Plant / synthetics & Polysters Buttons organization & having opportunity to work at plant location has helped in deeper understanding with the all product development & manufacturing technicalities and customer satisfaction / trust.
Conceptualizing design & presentation as per fashion trend, forecast & customer requirements, in co-ordination with the designing team. Analyzing sales pattern & profit margin with different brands/markets and product costing.
Expanding existing client base & offering optimum services for mutual business growth and customer satisfaction.
Conceptualizing & implementing sales promotional activities such as participating in International trade fairs and meets as a part of market development and brand building effort


Responsible for leading and guiding a team of Sales & marketing, merchandisers, Quality and PPC

Driving sales & merchandising team of Export/RMG businesses, product development & managing supply chain of fabric production to garment exports
Understanding of customer & business associates' psychology, gained thru extensive International & domestic travelling for business development meetings, which helps in making rational commercial win-win decisions & customer satisfaction
Managing budgetary responsibility of Global sales team.
Key role in product development and customization for different markets.
Establishing Sales channels in various geographies.
Team management and recruitment.
Sourcing of outsourced fabrics and yarns.
Involved in planning of critical production processes and framework.
Creating distribution channels (wholesalers, importers, converters, editors, retailers, etc) in various countries in order to market the products.
Appointing/ Liasoning with the agents/representatives in various countries/new territories to boost sales.
Organizing and representing the company in several reputed international trade fairs.
Developing marketing strategies to competently explore business in a predetermined time period
Liable for composing plans for future activities as well as holding meetings with the team and the management so as to update them with business progress and the schematic plans.

Handling Vendors, Budgeting and Mapping Manpower requirements

International Marketing for new developments and orders
Pricing.
Dealing with Buyers/Buying Agencies.
Approvals of Technical Samples / Size Sets.
Approvals of Fabric Lab Dips /Quality / Print Strike Offs / Loom Bits / Bulk Lots.
Approvals of Lab Test reports / Inhouse Tests.
Production/Finishing Planning and Follow up.
Documentation Follow up.
Inspection of shipments by Q.C. of Buyer/Buying Agents.
Co-ordination with all the departments.
Follow up of all the departments from Sampling to Shipment stage.

As a part of product development team, generate new ideas to develop new products, collect samples of competitors or product popular in the market for development and provide necessary feed back to R&D.
Evaluate the possibility of commercialising new products in the market.
