We are looking for General Manager - Installations who is hands-on and has strong experience of over 10 years in the Kitchen & Home installations. The person will build and grow the entire installations team at Magppie as the company grows.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Manages team of installers who are responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing structures and major components.
Build & manage entire Installations function for Magppie
Responsible for scheduling and overseeing the installation of products
Ensures adherence to contract specifications and established policies and procedures
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Set up a installation training centre at factory and train the team of installers as per standards
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Ensure timely and quality management of product installation for all the sites
Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.
Involves cross-functional/departmental interactions -- a crucial link between the factory, client and sales team
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management.
Manage end-end documentation and paperwork at all sites
Strategy & Planning:
In partnership with the company's founders, identify opportunities of improvement in service delivery and risks/challenges experience under current processes
Identify technology trends in end installations that may support or impede the success of the business
Evaluate and identify gaps in processes & systems for delivering the company's services
Ensure company sevice delivery & installations issues are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner
Develop, track, and control the development and deployment annual operating and capital budgets for Installations department/organization
Share knowledge, mentor, and educate the organization's investors, management, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders with regard to the company's technological vision, opportunities, and challenges
Supervise recruitment, training, retention, and organization of all development staff in accordance with the company hiring process, personnel policies, and budget requirements
8-10 years experience in the field of Installations
Expertise in managing and directing entire Installations function for firms like Godrej, Merino, etc.
Ability to run softwares like KDMax & AutoCad
Good understanding of Kitchens Installations & Home Dcor market
Should be Tech savvy & have a zest for automation & digitization of processes. Ability to provide inputs to Technology function for automation & digitization of entire Installtions Process
Experience in leading engineering teams of 200+ personnel
A self-starter with a desire to work in a highly entrepreneurial environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
