Job Description

Job Purpose :

- Manage people processes (resourcing, performance, talent, reward and succession) ensuring levels of performance and capabilities meet current and future business requirements.

- Build effective working relationships with relevant HR colleagues

- Responsible for entire HR Operations of Integrated Steel/Heavy Machinery Plant with work force around 3500 +

Key Responsibility Area :

Talent Management :

- Conduct Talent Review Process for Middle Management and implement development plan

- Implement career progression matrix to cater to the individual need of career growth and organizational need of succession planning for critical positions

- Performance Management System

- Drive timely & qualitatively completion of PMS processes

- Organization Structuring & Manpower Planning

- Prepare & review organization design and aligning with business requirement

- Prepare manpower planas per ABP

- Talent Acquisition & Employee Life Cycle Management

- Coordinate with Central Team for talent acquisition of Regular Employees

- Organize induction program

- Monitor Separation Process, Analyze Attrition and initiate appropriate action where ever required

Employee Engagement :
- Prepare & implement Employee Engagement Calendar in line with Focus Areas as per External Engagement Survey

- Drive Employees- Recognition Schemes and Employee Communication Forums

Employee Connect :

- Prepare & implement Employee Connect Calendar in association with Departmental Connect Committees

- Monitor participation of each employee in at least 2 employee connect activities

HR Process Improvements :

- Document Job Descriptions & Job Competency Card (JCC) for identified unique roles by conducting incumbent interviews

- Design, implement & control processes through specific checklists to ensure better and focussed delivery of HR operations

- Documentation & Coordination for various internal & external Audits & Assessment


- Prepare, Analyze & Present Periodic Reports to Senior Leadership for Business Review


- Maintain accuracy of Employees related Data in SAP

Learning & Development :

- Implement L&D Process from Training Need Analysis to Training Effectiveness.

- Set, review & achieve the capability building targets of the organization

- Plan & manage Training Budget

- Identify learning needs in consultation with business leaders for talent development

- Coach &Develop Team for effective delivery and achieve the desired outcome

- Identification, assessment &development of Internal Training Facilitators

- Plan & organize customized program as per business requirement

- Define the course curriculum and learning path for new entrants

- Create guidelines and process for selection of external trainers

- Plant & implement executive development program for identified key talent

Qualification : MBA in Human Resource from XILR /SIBM/TISS/XISS and other reputed Business School.

Experience : 14 to 18 years in Manufacturing /Heavy Industry / Marine / Automobile/ Steel .

Age : 35 to 38.
