Role purpose and contribution
Aristocrat is seeking a Functional Support Analyst who will form part of a global operations team, supporting the implementation of a globally deployed Microsoft Dynamics AX R3 system.
We are seeking to fill this role prior to the UAT phase of the ERP implementation.
The successful candidate will be required to understand the proposed implementation, the global template,
business processes as well as participate in the UAT, Cutover & Go-Live phases of the project.
Once the ERP is operational, this role will be responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line support and functional analysis, predominantly across Supply Chain modules, whilst also assisting with the planning and rollout of the global template across other Aristocrat geographies.
The role is required to convert requirements into functional specifications and functional design documents so the ability to work effectively with global customers to understand their business requirements is essential.
The role ideally requires a candidate with extensive experience deploying MS Dynamics AX and will also see the successful applicant scoping and documenting requirements, configuring AX, providing support and training new users.
In addition, this role with work closely with developers and project team members on major system modifications and upgrade projects.
The successful candidate should serve as an internal consultant providing Functional guidance to realise industry best practices; provide guidance and specialized Functional knowledge to other Global IT department engineers and staff, ERP developers, analysts, users and ERP process owners.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Excellent understanding of Dynamics AX and its architecture
Business and systems analysis skills requirements, scoping, documentation
Experience configuring and testing Dynamics AX
5-6+ years of experience as a Microsoft Dynamics AX Functional Consultant.
1-2+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, R3 preferred.
