Job Description

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

*Provide reporting and analysis on sales, cost & margin (Globally) to either Business Units- BUs (Research/Applied/SAFC) and/or Corporate Functions

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION To provide decision-making support in the form of financial and management reporting and analysis to the Company's senior, regional management and functional areas. In addition, the position supports the Company's financial forecasting, budgeting and business development activities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

*Prepare and Distribute daily sales report for the senior executives.

*Prepare and Distribute weekly/monthly/quarterly sales, profitability and/or expense reports, reconcile against the external financial data, follow up and resolve differences, review for data quality and accuracy

*Prepare Headcount report indicating the movement/changes for BU/Corporate Functions

*Review analysis and findings with the Business/Segment Heads, BU Finance, and/or Controller.

*Analyze cost, margins to achieve optimal financial performance

*Support on Budget and Forecasting activities including trend analysis and reporting.

*Provide basic ad-hoc financial analysis support to the Business Unit or Corporate Functions Education:

*Two to four years of Experience preferably in Financial Planning and Analysis domain (Costing domain for See Though Cost -STC related roles) Skills:

Good Communication Skill ADDITIONAL LOCAL NEEDS

Technical Competencies:

*Basic Proficiency in understanding Financial Statement i.e. Balance Sheet, Income & Expense statement and the three Golden rules of Accounting. *Basic Proficiency in generating and Formatting Report with basic checks.
*Basic Proficiency in the concepts of Management accounting i.e. various dimensions of Sales and Profitability reports, Forecasting/Budgeting Cycle.
*Proficient in MS Excel skills - Working knowledge of Functions and Formulae, Charts and Graph, PIVOT tables and MS PPT - Understanding of creating, formatting a slide
*Basic Proficiency of ERP (e.g. SAP), Analytical (e.g. Business Intelligence-BI, Business Object- BO), Consolidation (e.g. Hyperion Financial Management-HFM) *Basic Awareness of the Intelligence/Statistical tools Behavioral

Competencies:

*Proficient in Interpersonal skills
*Basic proficiency in Problem solving, Planning & execution, Customer orientation, Business acumen and Impactful communication
*Limited proficiency in Nurturing teams and Leading change
