The Project Engineering & CAPEX Management team is the gatekeeper and process owner for the process of Asset Capital Project Management within this global pharma MNC. The Project managers in the team will manage and execute complex global asset projects in accordance to the company standards and procedures, either directly with a team of project engineers, experts and sub-contractors or indirectly through governance of the application of the Project Management process in all parts of the company performed by local site Project Managers supervised by Global Project Manager working in a Program Management capability.
The role will contain the following main responsibilities but not be limited to:
Leading, managing and controlling of Green field complex engineering project.
Full accountability for the project resources and budget.
Responsibility for achieving planned project performance in aspects of quality, time and cost.
Timely reports to different management levels (including top managements).
Manage internal and external PM teams which are performing projects.
Manage local and international multidisciplinary project teams (Procurement, engineering, QA, EHS, etc...), to create synergy team and coordinated work...
Working in a complex matrix organizational environment, with multiple internal and external interfaces, to create cooperation for achieving projects completion.
Working according to global standards as well as regulation guidelines and in correlation with the company's global Strategy.
Taking part in internal department projects, as well as creating processes and global guidelines.
Project manager rolls, responsibilities and expectations.
Plan, manage and control up to date project budget, on a daily basis
Plan, manage and control project time line.
Manage project SCOPE as well as the Engineering change control process.
Lead ongoing project risk analysis as well as mitigation plan.
Set and lead multi discipline project team to support all projects aspects
Lead Weekly project status meetings with all project team members.
Prepare and present the project to a steering committee on monthly bases.
Weekly and monthly projects reports.
Being the first escalation path for project team members, and "raise flags" for unsolved issues.
Close alignment with plant engineering manager.
Escalate technical issues to regional engineering and steering team.
Cooperate and consolidate with similar projects.
Leading continuance improvement process through Lesson & learned sessions.
Project manager will spend at list 50% of his time "on-site".
B.E / M.E / M.Tech (Industrial engineering / mechanical / electronics / chemical / biochemical) Must
M.B.A in project management would be an added advantage
At least 15 years experience in complex engineering project management must.
At list 7 years experience in project management and leading projects.
Knowledge and experience in Greenfield projects.
Excellent understanding of Project Management and the application of project management in all types of projects types and environments.
Large, complex, multi interfaces organizational experience Must.
Global, multinational experience an advantage.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with wide knowledge and experience in US FDA requirements Must
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
