Job Description

Responsible for ensuring smooth running of equipment in the shift and carrying out breakdown maintenance so that the production targets are met.
To carry out routine inspection of critical equipment and bring to notice of concerned in-charges and plan corrective measures immediately.

To inform of any spares consumed during the shift to the shift in-charge/ area in-charge.
To follow safe working practices and ensure zero accident during the shift.

To maintain a log of all the activities carried out during the shift.
To provide on the job training to technicians.
Responsible for ensuring that housekeeping is maintained in the work place

To analyze and suggest ways of reducing breakdowns and power consumption
Shutdown & Spare planning related to mechanical maintenance of above areas.
Responsible for monitoring and controlling the make-up water equipment's.

Awareness & Implementation of SAP-KK module.
Implementation of various systems in Utility section like ISO, EMS, TPM TQM etc.
Inter-sectional team co-ordination.

Responsible for checking of equipments as per check list.
Ensuring all equipment availability electric wise.

Responsible for coordinating with different agencies during Stand change, Mechanical Breakdown of Equipment's or any Operational delay and plan Electric Instrumentation preventive measure in the Bar Mill.

Responsible for analyzing any failures and plan measures to eliminate the root cause and ensure mill availability.
