- Provide a proactive HR consultation to people leaders on employee relation activities. Advising and coaching them on ER issues like disciplinary, performance management etc.
- Investigate and lead resolution of complex employee relations issues. Working with internal/external legal counsel to ensure corporate compliance and risk management of all issues.
- Build strong relationships with people managers within your country of responsibility and also with Division heads who have people management responsibility in these states
Building a culture of Performance :
- Implementing performance Management for field employees and
- Improvement plan for marginal performers and consequence management.
- Implementation of PIP for sales employees and training field managers on the same
Compliance & COBE :
- To ensure implementation of requirements status under various legislations applicable to the field force / staff located across all geographical locations in India to ensure 100 % statutory compliance. Ensure implementation of COBE.
- Conscience keeper and facilitator in maintaining Culture and deployment of Values, Code of Business Ethics.
- Conduct awareness session of COBE with all the new joiners with Company.
- Act as a sounding board to the Sales & Marketing Leadership on all frontline employee related matters. Participate in business issues of importance.
- Working closely in the investigation with the Chief compliance officer on all the issues raised by the India business employees and to enhance and institutionalize practices that build employee engagement.
- Take necessary actions on the audit observation given by the central audit committee every year.
Handling contract employees :
- Ensure contract employees connect and wellbeing as per legal requirements.
- Conducting regular meeting with the contract employees every alternate month and auditing the records as per the contract labor act.
Legal & Discipline :
- Lead all the court cases pending at various labour courts in the country for early positive resolution and business impact.
- Increase the advocates network and on-board services across the regions for quick resolution
- Initiate disciplinary actions against the delinquent employee in timely and quick manner.
- Ensure statutory compliance for India business, timely filing of all statutory returns to relevant authority. Respond to their queries and notice.
Liaison & Networking :
Drive liaison with Govt. bodies / agencies to ensure timely support by the external agencies for all the business challenges faced on account of employee relations challenges/issue.
-MIS Management: PO / PR creation, Vendor bill processing, New Contracts
Internal: Talent acquisition team, Talent Management team, C&B team, Business Heads.
External: External consultants, Third party agencies, local govt. bodies including legal enforcement authorities
