Job Description

Global: With Company Global Experts in specific applications and sales personnel for Global Projects, on Knowledge sharing and transfer.
Internal : With Operations, Process Engineering, Project Management, Quality, Logistics, HR, Finance on routine co-ordination interaction.
External : With End users /Customers in Chemical Process Plants for Business /Technical discussions. And with Sub-Vendors for taking back up quotes for bought outs /Technical Clarifications.

Key Accountabilities:
Sales, Business Development and Account Management across India.
Maintain healthy customer relationships.
Liaisoning with sub-suppliers / small engineering contractors.
MIS reporting.
People Development

Compliance to ISO Procedures.

Team Performance

Major Activities:
Responsible for developing and establishing Process Plants sales for the Company across India.
Keeping track with supply and demand in given application of Process Plant, changing market trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
Generate ideas and suggestions to improve the performance of the sales team and keep the sales team motivated to achieve Yearly objectives and KPIs.
Implementing Processes and Procedures and ensuring compliance.
Responsible for the timely provision of all Sales Dept. forward planning information.
Commercial responsibility for quotations with approval from the Top Management wherever necessary.
Approve quote and Sales orders up to agreed authority matrix.
Possess a Strong Technical knowledge of overall Plant functioning.
Ensure efficient cash flow from customer.
Monitor and report progress on a regular basis via planning tools and at management meetings.
Ensuring instructions are set up correctly and the customers requirements are exceeded.
Responsible to maintain the relationships with clients, vendors and employees.
Responsible to handle customer complaints and resolve the issues raised by customers.
Ensure collection of customer feedback.
Overall relationship building with sub-suppliers and small detailing and Engineering contractors.
To obtain Back up quotes from sub suppliers.
Evaluate vendors quotations from adequacy of meeting Technical Specs.
Understand their input requirements and fulfill the same with the help of internal Process engineering group.
Track, collate and interpret sales figures.
Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales revenue.
Generate timely sales reports.
Develop pricing schedules and rates.
Create awareness about Environmental Management System (EMS) within the dept.
Guide the executive for deciding the Environmental Objectives and KPIs set at organizational level.
Review the progress and ensure effective implementation of EMS within the department.
Responsibility for Health & Safety in the office.
Train, mentor and coach Sales & APT Department employees in all aspects of their job.
Create and manage self-development plan.
Ensure succession planning.

Other Functions:
Keep track of smooth project execution and take regular reviews of customers order execution with Project management Team.

BE/ B.Tech Chemicals with a minimum of 7 years experience of developing business and selling Process Plants involving turnkey type Projects.
MUST have extensive experience of dealing in Chemical Process Plants /Pharmaceutical Plants /Agro-Processing or Dairy Plants, etc.
MUST have strong Technical knowledge on Mass transfer like Distillation /Liquid Liquid extraction units /Wiped film /thin film evaporator functioning.
Should have strong knowledge of and should be networked with sub suppliers for vessels /Heat exchangers / Pumps / small engineering contractors.
MUST have excellent Communication, presentation, inter-personal and Team Management skills.
