Designation & Remuneration will depend on current profile. Current profile of the applicants must be at least in the capability of GM/AGM/DGM/AVP/VP in to Medical Coding
Candidates from Medical CODING background will only be considered for the said positions.
Good analytic skills and expertise to be proficient in accurately coding medical records utilizing
ICD-9-CM and CPT conventions especially emergency room coding and other multispecialty.
Have coding work experience in Multispecialty like Radiology, Anesthesia, IVR etc.
Strong ability to interpret medical records of the patients.
Ability to communicate, have excellent interpersonal, listening skills and organizational skills.
Coordinate with clients and coders and ensure smooth processes.
Review coding guidelines and ensures its updated on regular basis.
Taking key responsibility in maintaining team productivity report. Daily and monthly.
Conducting audit meetings and take steps in improvement plan.
Client communications through emails and teleconference call to deliver the customer expectations with excellent communication skills.
Team building and Team Development.
Ensures direct reports maintain established customer service standards.
Maintains all coding consultants at 100% productivity level.
Assists in the development of site specific baseline productivity standards utilizing Overlook reports to manage coder productivity.
Provide feedback and mentoring as needed to achieve productivity standards.
Maintains Quality Standards of 95% or better within the assigned specific client group/geographic area.
Uses Overlook to monitor quality, provide constructive feedback to employees regarding quality issues as needed and assist leadership team with developing a performance improvement plan for underperforming employees to achieve company quality standards.
Responsible for the implementation, compliance and tracking of ICD-10 internal training to internal coding staff.
Keeps the leadership informed if any coder is not complying or underperforming during established training milestones.
Assists site supervisors with questions they might have about a client and their facility specific guidelines.
Oversees and monitors customer facility operations.
Works with Site Supervisors and staff to achieve desired results on tasks performed and accuracy.
Drives quality assurance and performance improvement as needed.
Client Communication and handling Client issues (Coding Lead on Client Support)
Project Analysis and Reports (MIS In-charge & deliver Client SLAs)
Consideration for the role of Coding Operations Manager requires all of the following:
Bachelor or Master Degree from a certified Organization.
AAPC or AHIMA certification.
Supervisory experience preferred minimum of 10+ yrs
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) preferred.
