Job Description


*Manage large, complex projects/programs of 50+ people to an acceptable level of risk by balancing scope, time, cost and quality.

*Lead proposal efforts.
*Lead multidisciplinary, globally distributed teams to deliver integrated client solutions that achieve measurable business results for our clients.
*Manage the financial profitability of client engagements.
*Build and manage client relationships at senior leadership level.
*Identify and shape new business opportunities with new or existing clients.
*Plan and help create engagements of work by leading estimation efforts and turn those into high and mid level project plans.
*Manage and grow people.

*Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business or related field. Master's degree preferred.
*Deep project management experience in delivering software solutions within the Capital Markets industry.
*Experience delivering trading system implementations or custom software development projects within Investment Banking, Asset Management or Financial Services communities.
*Extensive experience in consulting and/or client-facing role.
*Very deep experience in business development and/or selling consulting services.
*Extensive experience of leading technology projects and managing teams of 50+ people across multiple lifecycles through business and technical design phase.
*Very deep involvement in multiple full software development lifecycles.
*Extensive experience in managing object oriented design projects and methodologies desired.
*Experience in implementing any third party trading software packages desired.
*Familiarity with Agile and Iterative Development (or other new methodologies).
*Excellent presentation, negotiation and facilitation skills.
*Openness to travel and work at client offices.

Must have:
*Technical background -- must have technical breadth & depth
*Business knowledge -- must have strong understanding of capital markets domain
*Strategic thinking -- must have spent time in building and executing account level strategies
*Strong senior level client management skills
*Must have managed large engagement in capital market domain

Good to have:
*Exposure to Agile & related methodologies
*Managed large teams
*Understanding of GDD model

Business Knowledge: Financial services domain experiences would be a plus.
