Design, implement and direct the delivery of a contracted business portfolio that represents the top tier clients within the company
Is the main point of escalation and resolution strategies for the strategic clients while in the delivery phase. Interfaces as the main POC at the executive level and communicates with the customer's executive and project team as well as Cornerstone's leadership.
Provides an intimate and World Class customer experience through frequent communication, onsite visibility at key and strategic events during the customer delivery lifecycle.
Is experienced with Time and Materials, Fixed-Cap/Fixed-Fee contracting structures, milestone billing schemas and can lead/drive the performance of these contracts throughout the delivery phase.
Typically manage very large, multi-site deliveries and/or highly complex, high risk deliveries, often spanning multiple years and phases of delivery.
Direct delivery teams, develop and maintain relationships with the customer base and develop relationships within the customer's business process ownership.
Ensure all projects are moving forward and that all components for successful delivery are in place. Direct the coordination of resources and project plans; resolve issues with regards to delays in project delivery and resource constraints.
Advise senior/executive management of project and client status.
Facilitate program level issues and change management resolution.
Manage a team of engagement and Implementation managers responsible for the execution and delivery of Unified Talent Management solutions for Cornerstone. These individuals are responsible for the overall project plan, tracking burn rate against budget, structure, schedule, and staffing requirements, and for making sure that the customer requirements are satisfied through providing specific deliverables.
The Director of Strategic Delivery establishes project structure, staffing plans, and participates in the staffing process, which may include selection of personnel from third party vendors and customers. Develops budget and manages activities of a department, section, work group and/or project.
Motivate and direct project team, sets goals, objectives, priorities, assigns/reviews work and resolves conflict.
Responsible for aligning the efforts of departmental or cross-functional teams to support company objectives.
Oversees the management of ongoing work through governance structures and communication strategies that provide guidance to projects and keep the customer informed.
Drive alignment and adherence to standards and direction set by the organization and removes barriers that prevent efficient execution of projects.
Support the sales engagement & customer care operations within the region.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 10 years related experience preferred; 8 years prior management/supervisory experience preferred.
Highly preferred if has worked for or has had deep experience working with top tier consulting agencies - eg. Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Ernst & Young, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture and can bring exemplary business acumen to the Strategic Delivery Team
Program reporting experience for multiple simultaneous projects across multiple clients and geographies.
Employee management and career development experience.
Knowledgeable in P&L, project structuring and budgeting.
Experience interfacing with and building relationships with C-Level customer executives required.
Ability to work in diverse, fast paced environment and effectively collaborate across teams.
Some travel to client sites required (30%).
