After a period of strong organic growth, business acquisition and integration they are now entering a critical phase of their growth strategy. A very influential role is now available for a highly credible and experienced senior HR professional to really make the difference and help the business achieve the next level both in terms of growth but also culture.
Reporting into the Managing director you will be an active member of the executive and be responsible for four manufacturing sites- Core responsibilities for the role include:
Active senior executive member- responsible for contributing to overall business strategy
HR activities to include commercial and operational recruitment, performance management, industrial and employee relations and salary and bonus management.
HR systems and process- design & development
Business programmes- culture and values , learning and development
Team management and leadership across multiple sites
This role will require a strong influencer and someone who can demonstrate strong communication skills blended with very acute business sense. You will be an experienced HR professional who has an effective track record within the manufacturing sectors. A background within the product development sector would be advantageous.
You will have good intellect and business knowledge with suitable CIPD qualifications
At least 12+ years' experience in HR Management at manager level
Very strong leadership qualities together with presence
All round very strong administration practices and knowledge
The ability to deal effectively with the Unions and staff negotiations
Have excellent communication skills both written and oral and be highly numerate
A team player, contributor and motivator.
