Tenure: Contractual position for 3 years or till the NRLMP program funded by GoI (whichever earlier)
Interact with the stakeholders and assist department in the identification of digitization needs
Helps department in design and define the digitization specifications
Helps department in selection of agency to carry out the digitization work
Helps department in scheduling and managing the digitization project timelines
Supervise and coordinates the work tasks of various vendors
Helps department in developing and maintaining quality control standards for all digital imaging, processing and other project outcomes.
Helps department in formulating and implementing the required workflows and maintain effective communication between participating agencies.
Helps department in adopting the standards, best practices
Bachelors Degree in Science or Technology.
Minimum 10 years of experience working in a professional digitization projects consists of digitizing rare manuscripts, books, maps, etc.
Knowledge in Digitization process and Digitization Workflow management
Thorough understanding of Color Management, Image Processing and Image formats.
Experience using image processing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Scanfix etc.
Well versed with the various standards adopted in digitization
