Act as system engineer to provide development of new elevator products / mechanical sub-systems during product development.
Responsible for layout engineering making concepts layouts, fitment verifications, preparation of master technical layouts & maintain them for revisions.
Support and technical expertise for Sales and Marketing.
Providing product technical support for non-standard requirements (technical feasibility of non-std deviations) for elevator designs as per customer requirements.
Supporting the new developing product concept design and implementation. Support / prepare System Requirements, Duty Table, sheave shaft loads, top level BOM and other system level technical dossier, such as ATOR, specification table, SEB, code compliance document and technical RAMP, etc.,
Selection and sizing of key components for the mechanical sub-system designs.
Perform elevator system calculations, component calculation for hoistway dynamics and analysis for car/ cwt weight and layout arrangement.
Integration of elevator mechanical system design, understanding the basic requirement of control fundamentals.Defining and managing mechanical interfaces.
Perform to elevator system performance test and component/subsystem qualification for prototype elevator. Provide support to elevator type test and code compliance test.
Support / developing System qualification plan TEMP for new system / existing system.
Support / lead the system level design reviews of the mechanical systems /sub-system.
Understanding and performing FTA, FMEA, RAMP, RRCA, etc. to FTBs/issues/turnbacks.
Implementing Root Cause Analysis to analyze test result of system, mechanical
components and FTBs.
Understand & perform the elevator code gap analysis on both system and relevant sub-systems.
Providing product support and technical expertise for Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Management, Quality, Field & Service and Marketing.
Provide support on mechanical system design using design standards for cost, manufacturing, assembly, reliability and safety.
