Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Handling of Tenders in totality for Electrical, HVAC & Fire Fighting, Plumbing Works.
Floating of tenders would include formulation and preparation of terms and conditions as per business Targets.
Job would involve rate analysis, price negotiations and justifiable finalization of tenders.
Quantity survey Computation of quantity and verification of the same.
Procurement of MEP related items
Accountable for tracking of various in-house supplies and Cash Flow of Suppliers, Contractors.
Developing and maintaining healthy relationship with vendors.
Co-ordination with all concerned Departments and Vendors.

Educational Qualification:

B.E. Electrical / Mechanical, additional if any

Experience:

Vendor Management, Tendering and Negotiations for MEP Works
Pre Contracting - Tendering, Comparison Analysis of Quotations along with Rate Analysis, ABC Analysis, Negotiations, Short listing of Bidders, Budget Approvals
Contract Documentation
Post Contracting - Co-ordination with Team and Vendors for implementation,
Cost Control and Cost Management - Proven expertise in project costing based on contemporary market analysis of materials and labor and standard productivity norms.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Techno commercial exposure related to Electrical, HVAC, Fire Fighting Works, Plumbing concept to completion of Project.
Sound exposure over Tendering preparation, floating, analysis, negotiation. Verification of BOQs of various Items in line with Std Drawings, comparisons of Quotations along with adequate Rate Analysis. Negotiating abilities for the justification of costing and Contractual Terms & Conditions.
Sound knowledge of Electrical, HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing materials, and current market rates of materials and labor.
Commercial Monitoring of Projects award, post award, execution and closing of the Contracts and Orders.
Co-ordination with other departments of Project Team, Vendors, Contractors, PMC, Architects, Structural Consultants and others for timely deliveries of the requisites.
Multiple Tasking abilities under pressure
Sound with office automation. Exposure to MS Project, SAP and Autocad is desirable.
