The Database development lead is senior member of the Account and Services Fees program technology team in the Wealth Management Group and will perform a variety of database specific tasks.
The role requires credibility and confidence interacting with senior management, business unit personnel and the technology teams across multiple projects.
The Candidate will play a pivotal role in the execution of multiple strategic projects related to fee processing and will responsible to lead team
10+ years leading medium to high complexity technology projects
7+ years hands-on experience in RDBMS. Preferably SQL Server and /or DB2
7+ years in financial services settings (preferably brokerage back-office systems)
Critical thinking and translation of business needs into technology solutions
Advanced experience in job scheduling
Good understanding of java and .net
Knowledge in shell scripting
Able to manage teams located in different locations geographically
Experienced in delivering onshore and offshore model projects
Hands on scrum experience
Willing to stretch and work late hours for providing overlap between the regions
Excellent written/oral communication skills and listening skills
Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs
Good analytical and problem solving capabilities
Experience with Informatica is Plus
Prior knowledge of ODM (Operational Decision Manager) is Plus.
Experience in Financial services industry specially wealth management is Plus.
