Description

1. Good experience on SMS HUB, SMSC, USSD, SMPP, Switch, STP, Telecom and Networking fundamentals.
2. Exposure to ITIL based Support Ops, Advanced knowledge of SS7, Sigtran and Telecom or VAS Domain.
3. Should have good knowledge of protocols like SMPP, SS7, SIGTRAN, SIP, TCP/IP, GMLC and Diameter.
4. Should have good experience of Fault Management, Change Management / Configuration Management, Problem management and Performance management.
5. Advance level understanding of VAS domain, SS7 and telecom concepts
6. Advance level understanding of Infra - H/w , OS, DB & Networking concepts
7. Outstanding in Client /Partner management.
8. Good knowledge on of SMS HUB, SMSC and SMPP based application.
9. Good project management skills, able to handle multiple projects.
10. Exposure in ITIL based processes.
11. Hands on NOC tools and process, Linux and Solaris in advance level
To be available on 24x7 Basis
Proven track record of managing 24x7 Operations to meet desired KPI/SLAs.
Prior experience in Telecom Operations, VAS-Managed Services or NOC operations environment
Knowledge of ITIL Framework
Good Knowledge on setting up ITIL/Telecom Processes
Prior experience in HP-Open View Suite
Telecom Domain Knowledge with Good knowledge of SS7, Telecom Networks, Data Networks, IT Infrastructure.
Ability to independently handle customer.
Advance MS-office Skills. Should be able to create good customer facing reports / presentations
Good Analytical Skills. Should be able to analyze issue and provide resolution.
Knowledge of latest Operating Systems like Linux/Unix, Windows
Knowledge of Excel programming / Visual basic skills to automate regular report requirements.
ITIL Certified
Knowledge of IT/Telecom Hardware Infrastructure
4-5 years of relevant experience in VAS Domain (Products knowledge like Messaging, USSD, CRBT, MCA, IVRS).
Responsible to Track KPIs & SLA Adherence/Achievement and KPI sign off with customer for his respective functions
Responsible to do quality reviews / audits for quality resolutions and process adherences.
Good in documentation and implementing process in operations.
Regular /SOPs/Manuals/reports / templates required to be enhanced for quality deliverables
Will be responsible to do proactive detailed report analysis and :
Publish findings of analysis to all required stake holders
Take/initiate appropriate corrective action based on the finding with required stake holders/ vendors
Will be responsible to ensure the basic hygiene of NOC tools echo system.
Identify the areas of improvement and take pro-active approach to address the identified areas by means of automation / process modifications / documentation / trainings
Creating the resource plan / roaster and ensure the availability required resources in all shifts.
Co-ordinate with vertical teams for escalated cases.
People Management
Coach, mentor, motivate, appraise and supervise team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
