Job Description

Education: MBA from Tier 1 / Tier -2 B-School

Experience:

1. 4-7 years of experience. Domestic consulting experience is preferred

2. Should have worked in the Life Sciences space and done work around Supply Chain Planning etc.

3. Should have excellent customer facing capabilities, must be comfortable working at the highest levels of client organizations and interacting closely with the - C- level executives

4. Should have managed teams and delivery and possess strong program management skills

Key responsibilities

1. Project Delivery: The candidate will be required to work with senior co's strategy professionals and will be expected to

a. Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills

b. Be proficient in market research and data analysis; should be able to provide strong business judgment to derive answers to problems where data is not easily available

c. Display an impressive executive demeanor, a team oriented and collaborative approach, and excellent presentation skills

d. Proactively escalate project risks

e. Ensure buy-in of proposed solutions with client counterparts

2. Business Development: In addition to project delivery, the candidate will be expected to

a. Interface with primary client contacts

b. Demonstrate strong intellect coupled with proficient commercial instincts

c. Support business development opportunities

d. Participate in client site visits and presentations

e. Support the preparation of proposal documents

3. People Development: People development will be a key attribute of this profile. The role will require the candidate to

a. Demonstrate a diplomatic, flexible and a strong team approach

b. Network internally within the peer group and other levels in the firm in order to gain understanding of solutions for client problems

c. Participate in performance discussions/appraisals, allocating and reviewing work to a small team of analysts

d. Participate in practice engagement initiatives

4. Practice/POV Development: One of the key expectations from this position would be practice development efforts comprising of

a. Creation of assets /research papers encapsulating project deliverables and case studies

b. Extending support to the development of marketing collaterals comprising of - point-of-views- on leading operations practices/industry insights that can be leveraged in C-suite stakeholders.
