As a Company Secretary, you will also be responsible for the Legal department of the company
-Manage compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements in India, including interaction with the Registrar of Companies, Reserve Bank of India, Employees State Insurance Corporation, Employees Provident Fund Organization, Labour Department, tax authorities, etc.
-Ensure timely filings of forms, returns and reports with relevant regulatory bodies
-Conduct board and member meetings, prepare minutes of all meetings and ensure timely filings of minutes/returns with Registrar of Companies
-Maintain and update statutory registers, records and returns and prepare annual report
-Prepare and file necessary e-forms with ROC for incorporating any changes as required under the Companies Act, including but not limited to, change in board of directors, change of auditors, obtaining necessary registrations, etc.
-Liaise with government and regulatory agencies as directed
Registered Member of Institute of Company Secretaries in India
6+ years of demonstrated in-house company secretary experience
Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
Excellent English communication skills
Willing to roll up sleeves and get the job done, able to multi-task
Exercise good judgment and provide practical solutions
