Min 8 -10 years overall experience in storage and backup systems administration. Candidates should have prior extensive experience working on a large enterprise level backup and NAS/SAN products and technologies
BACKUP ADMINISTRATOR Familiar with, CommVault Simpana Backup and Recovery Software, Data Domain, and/or Isilon NAS. CommVault experience highly desired.
Familiarity with the following systems/technologies:

Tape libraries - ADIC, Quantum, Spectralogic
Data De-duplication
Windows Administration (2003, 2008, 2012) & Linux administration
Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases
Microsoft SharePoint
Microsoft Exchange
Virtualization - VMWare, Hyper-V, VDI
General Networking, Firewall, TCP/IP communications understanding
General understanding of Storage Area Networks
NetApp and EMC storage systems

Understanding of backup & recovery principals, disaster recovery and knowledgeable of windows, aix and linux O/Ses.
Experience using CommVault with Data Domain Deduplication Devices is also a plus.
Strong hands-on experience with NAS devices particularly & Isilon Storage Clusters and related technologies i.e. SnapMirror, SNAPshots & SNAPvault.
Candidate should have good handle over the requirements gathering, designing, planning, problem solving, technical analysis of business problems and presenting it to management
Analytical ability to resolve complex issues in a fast paced and challenging SAN storage environment is needed.
Implementing backup policies, and provide input for developing operating procedures and policies as needed or requested
Shell scripting experience will be an extra advantage
Excellent relationship management skills
Be able to work in pressurized situation during high priority indicants
A Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field preferred and 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
Strong documentation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to operate in a team oriented environment.
Participate in 7x24 on-call support rotation and expected to be available during mission critical situations.
Able to deal with users at various levels in the organization.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
