Job Description


The Communications Director is a key point of contact for the client side marketing and media team and will be responsible for developing the client relationship. You will develop briefs, define media strategy and inspire media innovation. This role is working across a broad range of media channels, working with our content development and media buying teams to deliver high impact advertising campaigns across a broad range of media channels. This is a strategic planning role and you will be responsible for both brand planning and performance marketing.

Your role will include:

Regular contact with senior clients
Delivering inspirational media solutions
Developing strategy
Collaborating with teams across MediaCom
Supporting agency partners
Leading and managing teams of communications planners
Training, coaching and inspiring others
Contributing to new business development

A passion for sport would be very beneficial. The person we are looking for will have a very strong background in communications planning and has a solid amount of media agency experience. You are likely to have worked across a group of accounts or a single large account, and are able to demonstrate experience in both brand and performance planning. A strong understanding of all media channels is essential, and you will have excellent leadership skills. We are looking for someone with strong presentation skills, who is brilliant with clients and is able to lead and inspire those around them.
