Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Own the process to preparation of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow Statement (periodic/milestone and ad-hoc statements)

Spearhead Capital Budgeting, Cost Control, Working Capital Management, Monitoring of Key Financial Ratios etc.
Ensure availability of liquidity requirements

Liaison with Banks:
Maintain a healthy relationship with existing banks on board and develop arrangements with new banks to increase credit limits
Ensure sufficiency of Credit limits, Bank Guarantee limits etc. for securing new orders and smooth order execution

Risk Management:
Ensure compliance of the company and its factories to all legal requirements and initiate renewal and new registrations as may become applicable
Effectively liaise with auditors
Arrange to mitigate significant constituents of the Company's risk profile
Monitor and escalate important issues to the Managing Director and CEO

Has a sound knowledge and is able to guide Finance & Accounts team in all direct and indirect taxation matters such as for Customs, Excise, VAT, Sales Tax etc.

Export / Import:
Provide leadership and insights on financial matters pertaining to export / import to inter-departmental queries
Decide on timing of transactions based on expected movement of currency prices

Logistics, Raw Materials, Inventories and Collection:
Manage Account Receivables and Accounts Payable
Track invoicing and ensure timely collection through regular follow-up
Ensure optimization while ensuring maximum credit utilization and on-time delivery of raw materials to facilitate uninterrupted production with maximum efficiency
Handle all financial aspects of vendor management including suppliers, transporters etc.

Monitor prices of currencies, interest rates, relevant metals such as nickel etc. that affect prices of raw materials

Strategize to achieve financial objectives of the company. Provide big picture of macro environment and companys financial status during Board Meetings and otherwise on request
Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions and due diligence

Effective co-ordination with Head Office departments (Business Development, Procurement, Projects etc.) and Profit Centres (Industrial Engineering, Production etc.)
Periodically submit review and MIS to the CEO and Managing Director.

Education: CA(Completed)


Total experience of 10 - 12 years of which minimum 5-6 years Post CA .
Experience in Process / Mechanical Equipment manufacturing companies will be an added advantage.
