Responsible for acquiring software development projects from organizational stakeholders.
Role needs experience in selling Website / Application/ App development services to various Indian and offshore clients .
Responsible for securing software development, Support and consultation proposals from clients.
Responsible for Identifying opportunities, negotiating and closing deals.
Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to customers.
Responsible for building client relationships at all levels and across different software Organizations.
Responsible for client retention and setting up meetings proactively with decision makers/ Stake holders to hunt for new opportunities.
Responsible for working with internal groups within the organization -- Development , Delivery, HR to close and fulfill client needs swiftly.
Presenting and selling company solutions and services to new and existing clients.
Proactively search for new revenue generating opportunities to meet the company targets and following up on new leads and referrals.
Building deep understanding of existing accounts, organizational structure, strategic direction and challenges in order to increase levels of the business activity.
Collaborate closely with the Global teams to develop proposals, presentations.
Responsible for account planning activities and accurate projection of growth. Also highlighting challenges/ bottle necks, if any, proactively for a timely resolution.
Managing the sales processes by updating the deals regularly.
Responsible for proper forecasting and meeting and exceeding the budgeted targets and numbers.
Role also requires interaction with US/UK stakeholders to analyze, attain, develop and implement projects, outsourced to India.
Desired Skills and Experience
Graduate / Post graduate with marketing and sales as specialization. Knowledge of IT technologies is mandatory.
6-9 years of IT services Marketing experience within the IT Software Markets space with specialized experience in selling software development services.
Strong relationship skills and ability to communicate confidently at all client levels (middle, senior, C levels) to build meaningful internal and external relationships.
Experience with the Onsite / Offshore delivery model.
Broad functional knowledge within the capital markets sector, and ability to connect with a variety of executive level stakeholders on their specific needs.
Proficiency in thinking through solutions across a spectrum of offerings, to include consulting, systems integration and managed services
Understanding of technology and trends effecting technology and the software consultancy industry
Global experience / mindset with relevant domain knowledge
Aggressive, high-energy style to take advantage of opportunities
Prior US or European experience in software services marketing or account management role a plus.
