Scope and Responsibilities

* Domain expertise

- Provide thought leadership and solution building in Life Sciences Sales and Marketing, lead Business Development opportunities; knowledge of latest trends in Sales and marketing.

Exposure to multi-channel marketing and use of digital and mobility in Pharma promotion would be an added advantage

* Engagement delivery - Ability to conceptualize solutions and deliver engagements; need to comprehend business problems, appropriate outcomes and S&M solution suite of various technical groups to enable outcomes

* Client management

Establish relationship with clients as a "trusted advisor", who can manage relationships in large companies across geographies. Ability to lead client workshops and interact with senior leadership of client business stakeholders

* Practice building

Analyze business issues and challenges, develop new solutions and frameworks to address business pain points and support the global practice to attain targets through business development activities like RFx response, Client Visit Management, Marketing Collaterals preparation, Point of View of latest trends and challenges before the industry Experience The successful candidate will have a track record of success within the Life Sciences Practice of an established management consulting firm or IT consulting firm or will have extensive experience in the Life Sciences industry.

Specifically, the candidate will have:

* Experience in engagements focused on Sales and Marketing in one or more of the following - Brand management, sales force effectiveness, CRM, Digital Marketing, Sales operations, product launch strategy, business strategy planning, mobility in life-sciences

* Understanding of IT landscape in Pharmaceutical Sales and Marketing

* Experience in successfully managing client relationships in large, complex programs across functions

* Deep understanding of the current Life Sciences industry dynamics and trends

* At least 11 - 15 years of work experience in Life Sciences AND/OR IT services industry

* Experience working with Technology service providers/ Technology consulting or Pharma Industry preferred

* MBA preferred, with a undergraduate degree in Pharmacy/ Sciences or a B,Tech degree Personal attributes The candidate should be able to build on his/her expertise and network to grow the Practice.

* Excellent Communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
