Working with external market research agencies on client projects. Business development and marketing for Big Data.
Working with Sales team on large deals to understand and help qualify opportunities.
Responsible for translating the client needs to service lines and construct a winning client value proposition. Creating, monitoring and updating account plans and Go-to-Market strategies for these verticals.
Assisting the sales team in articulating appropriate client value pitch for proactive opportunity creations.
Leading strategic corporate initiatives for the verticals to achieve focused business targets.
End to end bid management for large RFP's/RFI's in the Big Data Analytics domain.
Identify and develop business cases for investment in new business opportunities including Mergers and Acquisitions opportunities.
Create strategic business development plans for target markets and ensure these plans are in line with the Optra's strategic direction.
Execute the strategic business development plans while working closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. sales, marketing, & partner teams, solution architects and management team).
Identify specific prospects/partners to approach while communicating the specific value proposition for their business and use case.
Fill the business development pipeline by engaging with prospects, partners, and key customers.
Understand the unique business & technical requirements of our customers and work closely with the internal development teams to guide the direction of our product offerings for our largest and most complex customers.
Prepare and present business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to closing new enterprise customers.
Creative prospecting through campaigns, business partners, and other activities to identify new customers.
Clearly articulate the Big Data & Analytics propositions to customers, partners and internal staff.
The right person have spent at least 7+ years selling big data solutions, preferably in US/UK/Europe market.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize coordinate activities.
Good analytical and proactive approach to problem solving and decision making.
Have experience in performing roles such as business development/ enterprise sales.
Should have demonstrated an ability to work in matrix organization with multiple stakeholders.
Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations is key.
Technical and/or business degree required.
Experience in Life Science/Healthcare IT would be preferred.
Experience working within the technology industry is highly desired.
MBA or equivalent background helpful.
