Job Description

To work as Account Director : Sales , Western India at this prominent media house which produces well known TV Channels in Hindi and Marathi. As Account Director, you will be responsible for driving Sales in the regions of Maharashtra ( excluding Mumbai ), Goa, Gujarat and MP. You lead and direct a Team of Sales Professionals in these territories and be responsible for all efforts to generate advertising revenue for the Media House. As a member of the Regional Team, you would play a contributory role in proposing strategies and on the ground action to effectively promote and drive business across various categories and segments.
Desired Profile You are a graduate in any discipline from a good university. You have successfully completed an MBA / PGDM or equivalent program with a specialisation in Sales & Marketing.You have been working for the last 8 to 10 years in Sales. Of these a minimum of 4 years has been in the field of advertising sales for Television. Ideally you have experience in Sales for Hindi / Marathi TV channels. You have travelled extensively in Maharastra, Goa, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh and have developed a network of Clients, Agents / Agencies and Contacts which you can effectively optimise for this assignment. You are a good Team Leader and can manage and lead a Team based across these diverse locations. Ideally you are a resident of Mumbai.
