Job Description

Role Summary

This role is accountable for identifying and executing business development initiatives for Agility's Asia Pacific region. The role is responsible to partner closely across functional organizational lines and geographies in the expansion of targeted sectors and industries in alignment with regional and global commercial strategy. Frequent travel is expected.

Job Responsibilities

Intra-Regional Opportunities

Drives growth of profitable new business for Asian Owned opportunities measured in gross and net revenue terms
Responsible for the establishment of agreed upon target list and regular review of sales progress for agreed regional up and coming heroes targets in alignment with regional and global sales strategy.
Accountable for developing, leading and meeting/exceeding sales and revenue plans measured in terms of:
Gross and Net Revenue Actual Contribution
Gross and Net Revenue Wins
Drive a credible sales pipeline value across new and renewal business

Global Business Development Opportunities

Drives growth of profitable new business for agreed business development customers owned from other regions within the network
Management of the sales pipeline and regular review of the target customers with other regions and stakeholders as required.
Supports solution design and regional alignment to support global sales across the agreed target clients
Drive a credible sales pipeline value across new and renewal business

Key Performance Indicators

Business Growth Targets for New and Existing Business as agreed measured in:
Actual New Business (Net Revenue)
Actual Renewal Business (Net Revenue)
Secured New Business (annualized Net Revenue)
Maintained Renewal Business (annualized Net revenue)

Quality of Pipeline measured in:

Pipeline Value (New Business and Renewal Business)
Conversion Rate

Job Specifications

Ten to twelve years of senior level international supply chain Sales Management and/or logistics management experience in the Asia Pacific or South East Asia region
Strong cross-cultural experience and capabilities, especially with Asian cultures
Strong, working knowledge operations background (warehouse management, logistics provider management, material handling and logistics technology/tools)
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities
Excellent strategic planning skills
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across functional lines
Demonstrated success record in managing across technical, culture and language group
English is the principal language for this position; fluency in Mandarin would be advantageous but not preferred
Frequent travel is expected
