He/she will provide designs, specifies information systems solutions and functional direction in the Development of new or existing applications to solve basic to complex problems or enhancements.
Perform as a business analyst for major modification.
Work with various stakeholders in various financial institutions to document the business requirement for IT initiative.
Lead cross-functional business process team involves in continuous improvement process.
Evaluate potential software solutions, including off-the-shelf and open source components, and the system architecture to ensure that they meet business requirements.
Create functional requirements in use cases. Coordinate requirements walk-through and sign-offs, verifying with user representatives/stakeholders that use cases and process models accurately portray specific business needs.
May perform day to day support activities and special projects.
Monitors the activities of sub-ordinates and other stakeholders.
Contribute to project plans.
Minimum Qualification Required
At least ten (10) years of experience in Information Technology in Banking and Financial Services
A Master Degree in Business Administration (Finance, CA or Software Engg preferred)
Good Communication and Presentation Skills
People with one or more following domain skills will be preferred: Investment Management, Reference Data Management, Financial Advisor, Back office Operation Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, Core Banking.
Has exposure in pre-sales support like proposal, responding to RFP.
Exposure to IT platforms in US and European financial markets.
Worked in an IT company delivering solutions around web based application in banking domain.
Comfortable working in one or more modelling tools.
Flexible to travel onsite on frequent intervals.
Ability to work well under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
