Job Description

The SharePoint Business Analyst responsibilities are but not limited to:

- Consulting with BCS business partners to understand strategy for SharePoint adoption

- Application of best practices and strategy through effective consulting engagements to promote effective use of the SharePoint platform

- Design and develop web parts, InfoPath forms, MS Office integration applications, workflows,, page templates, branding customizations, search scopes, and web services by working closely with business stakeholders to understand business needs and operations

- Effectively use the web parts to display data within SharePoint from external systems

- Create connections to systems allowing the display of dashboards and KPIs using components such as Excel, SQL Reporting Service, etc.

- Obtains buy-in from business stakeholders on proposed solutions.

- Introduces enhancement features as required.

- Participating in troubleshooting issues and reported errors and providing technical support on escalated issues.

- Provide comprehensive support material once sites are delivered

- Conducts development workshops and white-boarding sessions.

- Actively participate as part of the core IT team.
