Job Description

Summary -

  • The Geo Expansion Analytics team is looking to accelerate growth from emerging international markets, one of the main strategic initiatives for client's marketplaces.
  •  The analytics team, in partnership with business unit and product teams, helps deliver world class experiences for customers in a way that also drives growth for shareholders.
  •  This role is unique in that the analyst will be analyzing many of the key elements of e-commerce, including but not limited to key user flows, search, landing pages, product pages, checkout, mobile, merchandising, social engagement, marketing, and advertising.
  •  The position will report into the Senior Manager of Geo-Expansion analytics and be part of a 400+ global analytics organization with many options for future career growth at client.
  • A good communication skill, past experience with eCommerce / Online Retail industry is highly preferred. The candidate SHOULD have experience with Analytics before (not only BI). The candidate should be good with Excel, SQL and Tableau

Responsibilities:

  •  Preparing standardized daily/weekly reports looking across various financial/operational key performance metrics.
  • Based upon significant changes in trend in the weekly reports, conducting adhoc analysis in order to ascertain the source of the change and make recommendations for next steps.
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders across Client's Marketplaces division on shared projects/goals, to ensure accurate/timely reporting and resolution to any deviations from target.
  •  Address escalations from US based executives, as Emerging Markets are very dynamic markets with volatile business trends and disruptions. Skills and Specifications:
  •  Ability to create forecasts/targets for future year growth Conduct adhoc analyses to explain variances in key metrics
