-The successful Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years business experience, with focused attention and working knowledge of syndicated lending and commercial lending; must be an abstract and creative thinker, capable of learning and summarizing complex concepts and issues and must be highly organized and effective in both written and verbal communication.
-The responsibility of this position is to gather and analyze requirements from internal and external clients and document and update product functional specifications that detail the scope of the work to be completed by a project team. Successful candidates will work closely with the development group and clients to evaluate existing product modules and provide development estimates for new functionality. They will also participate in product demonstration and serve as a liaison between Product Management, Support and Product Development groups.
-Interface with clients, Product Managers, and other project stakeholders to analyze, interpret, and identify a products business requirements, scope, issues, and solutions
-Write both functional specification and business requirement documents based on the clients (internal or external) request and interviews with subject matter experts and technical team

-Building on the strong growth experienced in its Comercial Lending business (Misys Loan IQ Value), Misys wishes to recruit highly motivated and performance driven individuals who will be responsible for proactively engaging with our customers, partners and prospects to create pipeline and drive business opportunities in the region.
-These individuals will be expected to have excellent domain knowledge of the Commerical Lending / Syndicated Loans business, acquired either through working with a lending software vendor or through direct work experience with a lending based financial institutions.
-As part of their role, the individuals are expected to show a deep understanding of the business processes of financial institutions and be able to position the value of Misys solution offerings (product and services) to help address those needs. As such this role requires this individual to lead external engagement and work collaboratively and closely with the sales, product management and services teams to be successful.
-The chosen individuals will be expected to work independently or with a diverse team to lead by example and exercise leadership through credibility and accountability and play a leading role in the development of a significant business in the region and at a global level for Misys in the Financial Services sector. Consequently this role will also be expected to take a leading role in the development of our propositions for the region and globally and work closely with product management to help with roadmaps and value proposition development
Key Accountabilities (Key accountabilities of the job):
1.Customer & Sales Engagement
-Establish credibility with the client, analysis of the clients need and establish their pain points.
-Able to articulate the unique value & proposition that Misys Lending solution delivers around the identified customer needs
-Respond to the RFI / RFP's to architect and present the appropriate solution/s to address the key customer requirements
-Participate / lead the solution demonstrations / workshops to ensure that the Misys solutions are presented to address the identified client pain points.
-Be seen as the go to person by sales team for the Lending engagements.
-Champion the value based selling approach into all large scale opportunities
2.Value Proposition Development:
-In addition to active engagement with the routes to market and customers, this role will work closely with Product Management and will be critical to developing business solutions across Misys & partner product lines that can be structured into value propositions and into go to market campaigns. To do that this individual will be expected to:
-Develop a detailed understanding of the regional / global market trends
-Align with the strong "outside-in" culture and drive market requirements and feedback into the Product Management and development process to create relevant value propositions for the market.
-Provide feedback to Product Management so that the roadmap and demo systems/value prop reflect the lessons learned/marketing/market requirements;
3.Business Development / Go-to-Market strategy for the Commercial Lending solution
-Drive a consultative selling approach which enables Misys to develop unique solutions to its customers and position the value of those solutions. Proactively engage with customers and partners to develop relationships and business opportunities and revenues.
-Drive engagement with key stakeholders within Major Regional players (including focusing on Misys strategic accounts) to create opportunities and pipeline for opportunities.
-Engage and develop joint propositions and account activities with key strategic partners in the territory and targeted accounts. Create joint propositions and ensure Misys is represented in these partners go to market campaigns.
-Provide domain leadership and proactively engage with customers & prospects around the focused Go to Market campaigns that Misys runs. Provide guidance and input into large scale bids in the region.
4.Thought Leadership in Comercial Lending space:
-Take a lead in displaying thought leadership through superior product and market knowledge, participation in industry events, partner engagement, to drive the prominence of the organization in terms of having the knowledge and the solutions the industry/clients/prospects require
-Industry knowledge be current with industry trends and standards, where suitable be part of industry forums and bodies.
-Work with marketing on developing collateral and executing against the thought leadership opportunity which is in place.
-Decision Making & Authority (Types of decisions required to do the job and how these are arrived at e.g. by reference to others or procedure, etc)
-Making decisions to architect and present the appropriate solution/s in order to address the key customer requirements, in so responding to the RFI / RFP's

-This role will need to work across functions within Misys and the ability to team and influence and lead others without direct line management responsibility is a key requirement.

-Experience working independently and as well as within a team

-Extensive experience with business analysis and translating business requirements into functional specifications
-Proven track record of delivering against tight deadlines with high quality
-Knowledge of Loan IQ, ACBS, AFS or Shaw is definitely a plus.

-Prior experience of Sophis Value solutions will be an added advantage

-Good Bachelors Degree with a major in Computer Science, Mathematics, MIS, business / banking or any related courses is preferred
