As a Business Analyst in clients Essential Work Team, the selected candidate will be required to support following activities
Production issue analysis
Issue tracking with IT
Required Profile/ Experience
Business Analyst experience in IB/Financial services domain (handled 2 or 3 projects with minimal supervision)
Strong experience of full systems development life cycle (SDLC) from Business Analyst (BA) perspective
Should have Financial Accounting knowledge
Investment banking landscape understanding/In depth IB product knowledge will be added advantage -Trade Life cycle understanding- covering flow from Front Office, to Middle Office, and finally Back Office (pertaining to Exchange and/or Over The Counter (OTC) Derivatives)
Should be familiar with Change projects, Governance structure and senior stakeholder management
Understanding of Balance Sheet, Income statement, Trial Balance from IB perspective
Solid Business analysis experience- Expert level in MS visio and medium MS Powerpoint. Someone who can design Current/As Is and Future/To Be state. Data analysis with MS Excel is a real mandate for this role.
Experience in Test case planning and execution of UAT
Experience in Functional Specification creation (appreciation for Logical data model/ER diagram at least conceptually)
Attention to details with good communication skills as this may demand quick turnaround when coordinating with business users and IT for resolution of prod issues
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills required
Ability to work in Individual Contributor role
B.Com / M.Com / B.Tech / BCA must (People with Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy, CPA, CIMA qualification will be an added advantage)
Experience of working in Banking Operations Applications.
Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Access is required.
