The Business Intelligence and Data Management group is looking for a Principal Analyst to join our dynamic team with the following responsibilities:
Identify issues & challenges with current business department & help resolve them through data analysis and sound business understanding
Prepare regular analysis & reports from various databases with outmost priority to accuracy.
Lead requirement gathering meetings with business owners and subject matter experts
Work independently on projects and other assignments
Multi-task and troubleshoot any issues that arise which may have multiple variables that fall outside stipulated guidelines and work closely within the department and with other Ocwen departments to ensure their prompt and accurate resolution
Create presentations to be reviewed by Senior Management
Assist less experienced team members in finding solutions and troubleshooting.
Act as team lead on need basis
Take full responsibility of a module from start to finish
Ensure overall project timelines are met, by proactively identifying issues and solutions and providing useful suggestions
Flexible in working hours (willing to work late hours on need basis)
Bachelors degree required with close to 5+ Years of relevant experience in Business Analysis & Reporting environment .
Familiar with business analysis & recommending sound decisions based on historical data.
Prior mortgage experience is preferred.
The ideal candidate must also be an effective communicator and problem solver.
Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Preferably Microstrategy 9)
Solid understanding of SQL, Oracle, and relational databases
Must be proficient in all Microsoft Applications.
