Main Duties and Responsibilities : Risk Assessment and Management Support
Lead the implementation of a programme of operational risk assessments (RCSAs) across the Functions/Processes to identify the key business process risks, determine the effectiveness of operational controls and drive out remedial actions for improving the business control framework.
Preparation of annual and periodic assurance plans for performing Conformance Testing for in scope areas of work or other applicable assurance framework
Guide the team and lead execution of reviews in line with standard methodology and approach
Project Management - Oversight of testing cycle to ensure execution in line with scope of work and predefined timelines 100% compliance with SLAs / calendar timelines / scope of reviews
Ensure that all testing activity is completed as per the prescribed governance model, review reports issued to leadership team and onshore stakeholders
Guiding the team to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement control best practices across in-scope business areas
Drive the quality assurance model to ensure the accuracy and value of the deliverable produced for stakeholders.
Responsible for monthly, quarterly analysis, statistics, metrics and review for specific business processes.
Review of budgets and invoicing to ensure that all services are charged correctly
Assist the Head of Offshore in driving the overall strategy for the team.
SSA and CCN management.
Resource management - including understanding of current and future workloads to plan in effective management of work and resource capacity.
Interfacing with multiple stakeholders across organization.
Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the operational metrics, KPIs and SLAs to ensure that the key areas of performance, capacity, pipeline and transition planning are regularly and accurately measured to enable continuous improvement.
Provide guidance and support to the Functions/Processes in advance of internal (and occasional external) audits.
Provide consultation for changes to policy, procedures and regulations for appropriate changes to monitoring processes
To understand and comply with the appropriate ABC Policy & Standards as applicable to the role and assist in implementation of ABC Policy at BSS.
Risk and Control Objective:
Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Organization Operational Risk Framework and internal Organization Policies and Standards.
Requirements for Associate Vice President R&G:
Knowledge and Expertise
Comprehensive understanding of risks, controls, risk management tools and methodologies, governance and control frameworks and processes.
Specialist knowledge and experience in internal audits/ process reviews preparation of audit plans/ program mes, execution and reporting.
Good understanding of operational processes within business including experience in process reviews/ audits pertaining to various operations, payments, support verticals, Procurement to Payment (P2P) cycles or aspects relating to supplier/ vendor management.
Ability to analyze MI and effectively interpret available information and provide reports capable of identifying key areas of concern
Ability to drive client interactions and resolve identified control issues through to remediation
Preferably with diverse experience in Internal Audits, process reviews and enhancements (BPR), Enterprise Risk Management, Sox Compliance and other internal control and regulatory compliance projects.
10+ years of relevant risk and control experience (with 7 to 9 years of experience in a large bank/financial organization/ risk advisory with consulting firms).
